DESCRIPTION:April Chamber Luncheon - Thursday April 12th starting 11:15am\n\nat the Port Orchard Pavilion - 701 Bay St. Corner of Frederick St. and Bay St.\n\nPresentation: Trillium Organization and WA C.A.S.H. Program\n\n\n\nTrillium is a not-for profit organization that provides cost-free recruiting and training services to businesses who hire a person with a developmental disability. For nearly thirty years\, qualified candidates throughout Western Washington have discovered work that they love and businesses have benefited from dedicated and hard working employees. Trillium continues to make the connections a win-win situation. Trillium currently serves King\, Kitsap\, Pierce and Clark Counties.\n\n\n\nWashington C.A.S.H. (Community Alliance for Self-Help) program is a micro-enterprise program in Kitsap which provides business start-up training and support to more than 900 local entrepreneurs. Washington C.A.S.H. empowers aspiring entrepreneurs with limited resources and unlimited potential. They provide the hands-on education\, in-depth support\, and access to capital needed to launch and grow successful small enterprises. They serve those in our community for whom traditional business development services are out of reach\, with a focus on low-income\, women\, and minority populations. Working together\, they are committed to the growth of small businesses\, stronger communities\, and brighter futures throughout the Puget Sound region and beyond.\n\n\n\nOur raffle recipient for April will be the Port Orchard VFW Memorial Wall!\n\n\n\nIn order to give proper catering counts\, meeting reservations are necessary to attend Chamber Luncheons and can be made online through PayPal or by calling the Chamber at 360-876-3505. Please make your reservation by April 10th. Membership Luncheons are open to members and non-members. Chamber members pay $20 if prepaid and $22 at the door\, non-Chamber members pay $22 and must pay in advance.
