We're breaking the mold\, as the Chamber explores this fresh locale\, and we couldn't be more thrilled about the possibilities it holds.\n\n			\n\n			Come out to meet South Kitsap Chamber's new Executive Director\, Cody Clark. \n\n			 \n\n			Our guest speaker for the day will be the esteemed CEO of the Port of Bremerton\, Jim Rothlin. \n\n			 \n\n			With his finger firmly on the pulse of progress\, Jim is poised to entertain us with the latest updates and happenings from the Award winning Port of Bremerton. \n\n			 \n\n			 This is one address you won't want to miss!\n		\n	\n\n\n \n \n\n\n	\n		\n			\n			\n				\n					\n						\n						\n					\n				\n			\n			Also\, for the month of March we are hosting students from the SKHS animation program and their teacher Trish Tierney. \n\n			 \n\n			Many of you may remember Trish as she was a Chamber member for many years before becoming a teacher at South Kitsap High School. She now teaches 3D Modeling and Animation. \n\n			 \n\n			For the first time ever\, her students in the SKHS animation program competed in a regional SkillsUSA 3D Visualization & Animation competition\, and two SK teams won 1st and 3rd place out of 12 competing teams! \n\n			 \n\n			This means they are now moving on to the state competition on March 22nd and although the school is covering some of their costs\, the students will need to pay out of pocket for the official SkillsUSA polo shirts and their own food. This will be a struggle for some. \n\n			 \n\n			For the Month of March\, the Chamber proudly selects this exceptional group as the Luncheon Raffle Recipient. We urge you to join us in helping with their mission! \n\n			Your contributions of raffle items\, and the purchase of raffle tickets\, will be deeply appreciated. Together\, let's pave the way for their journey to State with our support and generosity. \n\n			 \n\n			We would also like to extend our gratitude to Trinette Gates of Loan Pro Gates-Fairway Mortgage for sponsoring lunch for the SKHS group so that they can join us at the luncheon\, and share with you in-person more about their accomplishments. \n\n			 \n\n			We are delighted to announce that Essence of the Thymes will be our caterer for this month's event. Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with a Taco Lunch! The menu features flavorful pork carnitas tacos\, accompanied by a green salad\, rice\, refried beans\, chips and salsa. Top your tacos your way with choices like creamy sour cream\, savory cheese\, fresh scallions\, crisp lettuce\, and juicy tomatoes.\n\n			\n\n			Please note: all registrations MUST be completed by 8:00am Monday\, 3/11/2024 so that we can finalize our headcount with the caterer.
