DESCRIPTION:The Sidney Art Gallery is pleased to present the Twisted Sisters as the February Featured Art Show. There is no surface they don't use to paint on. Both LaVonne and Jeanne paint in watercolor\, acrylics\, oil and pastel. Lavonne Hart Smith and Jeanne Hart Crider played together as small children enjoying each other. Now these two elderly wild and crazy girls are at it again! This show represents both of their art   together. While LaVonne was in Idaho raising her family\, Jeanne stayed near Gig Harbor to raise hers. They both studied art thru the years and enjoy almost all mediums. Jeanne teaches classes in watercolor and decorative arts\; she say's her favorite one is the one she has in her hand at the time she is painting. Jeanne has a large studio where the sisters play together now. "Drop in and see us sometime. The coffee is always on." The exhibition will run from February 5 through March 2\, with an artists' reception on Sunday\, February 10\, from 1 pm to 4 pm. Sidney Art Gallery and Museum\, National and State Historic Site\, is located at 202 Sidney Avenue\, Port Orchard\, WA and operates Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am   4 pm\, and Sundays 1:00 pm   4:00 pm.
