Workshop Schedule:
1) The Business Model Canvas and Pricing Strategy: October 10th
The first session will help you get your business organized. We'll cover the basics of why your business operates, who it serves, how it will make money, and how you'll position it so you can acquire customers and get revenue flowing. We'll even walk you through a pricing module to help you get clear on what you should be charging for your services.
2) Ideal Customer Profile and Personas: October 24th
This workshop will help you get laser focused on who you are chasing. Too often new businesses market to the wrong crowd, post and pray for a social following that never happens, or worse they take on starter customers at a discount just to get revenue flowing. Any of these can cripple a business. We'll help you build an Ideal Customer Profile and also build a plan to find your idea buying personas. This will help you put your efforts in the right places and ensure the deals you chase are right for your business.
3) Value Proposition and Positioning Your Business: November 7th
To attract customers, you have to tell the story of your business in their language, not yours. When people ask you about your business you have only seconds to catch interest. If you stumble all over yourself trying to describe it, if it takes 5 minutes and a sketchpad to get the idea across, or if you find people stare blankly at you while words continue to fall out of your mouth - you need this session. This session focuses on getting clear about why prospects need your services, how they will benefit, and helps you create talk-tracks that will grab attention without being 'sales-y'. After this workshop, you'll never be at a loss for just the right words when someone asks what you do. This will greatly improve your sales conversation and will help a ton when networking.
4) Goal Setting and Starting The Sales Engine: November 21st
There are many sales blockers - time management, misaligned priorities, not selling the right way, and fear are things that can slow you down or cause progress to stall. In this session, we'll help you organize your time, get laser focused, and remove any barriers that may be standing in the way of you getting your message to your prospects. We will also discuss best practices for sales activity, how to best structure your selling time, and get you some easy to employ actions that will help you see results quickly.
