Description
Come downtown to enjoy a unique festival that's now 31 years old!
Contestants young and old, as individuals or in groups, some in costumes - take turns on the beach "calling the seagulls." Contestants try to mimic the Seagull's cry and bribe the birds with treats and the judges with candy, cookies, and sometimes money, to win various coveted prizes. Past Seagull Calling Contest winners are encouraged to attend!
Meet your friends downtown for tasty barbequed wings for just $1 each. Feed the family for cheap! Judge the wing cook-off contestants - enter the competition yourself.
The Seagull Calling Festival takes place during the Kitsap Harbor Festival over Memorial Day weekend. Port Orchard Chamber coordinates with Fathom's of Fun to put on a fun event.
