6th Annual Miracle Trail Run

2015 marks a milestone 6th year for the Miracle Trail Run 5k to benefit children?s charities. The proceeds of the race benefit Seattle Children?s Hospital ? Uncompensated Care Fund, which helps assist families of sick children pay for needed care and procedures. This year the event welcomes a second charity. StandUp For Kids-Kitsap, which reaches out to 700+ homeless and at-risk kids in Kitsap County. The event is one of only a handful of trail runs in Kitsap County. The run offers a 5k Trial run through the trials of South Kitsap Regional Park in Port Orchard as well as a 1 mile fun run/walk, also on trails, and kids dashes. The races will be held August 8th, 9:00 am at South Kitsap Regional Park in Port Orchard. Register on-line at www.miraclerun5k.com. Packet pick up and day of race registration begins at 8:00 am. $15.00 to pre-register on-line or by mail, $20.00 on race day. Kids dashes are $5.00. Free child care with entry in Kids Dashes, $5 without. T-shirts also available.
