This is a FREE one time event to return unwanted prescription drugs to safely dispose of them.
Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Description
- Keep your family safe by removing unwanted drugs.
- Medicines flushed and/or thrown in the garbage pollute the environment.
- Safe medicine disposal reduces drug abuse and accidental poisoning.
- Prescription and over the counter substances will be collected.
- Law enforcement will not make any effort to identify participants.
- All solid and non-injectable liquids will be accepted, i.e. cough syrup, liquid Tylenol
- Insulin not accepted.
- Syringes and other medical waste will not be accepted.
- Illicit substances like marijuana and meth will not be accepted.
- DO NOT mix drugs. Keep drugs in their original containers.
- Different drugs cannot be loosely mixed in containers or bags as reactions can occur.
