Description
Veterans Day ceremony hosted by the Bremerton-Olympic Peninsula Navy League and sponsored by the Kitsap Sun, Kitsap County Commissioners, Navy League of the US, Gordon Sound, and Raytheon. The keynote speaker for the event is Doug Pfeffer, Operations Manager for "Rally Point 6," a non-profit Veteran support group. Additionally, the program will include a performance by the Bremerton High School band, Michael Oliver on the bagpipes, a ceremonial bell ringing, a 21-gun rifle salute, and Taps.
From 9:00am - 11:00am, antique military vehicles and vintage military uniforms will be on display, and free refreshments will be provided by Crazy Eric's Drive-In and Costco.
Spend a morning celebrating the dedication of our veterans, and honoring those that made the ultimate sacrifice.
